[WRITING; MISC] Purge One
Mar. 14th, 2010 05:14 pmI've seriously neglected writing, Mouse, and most of all, Patrick. I've been trying to kickstart writing, but I just have this massive block... and I think Pat has gone somewhere. I mean, he pops up every now and then... it's my fault; I've neglected him too. Of course, I feel awful! :(
...anyway, I've had these three scenes floating in my head for quite a while, to the point where they impeded progress. I haven't really written anything either. Then again, this is a side effect of having a social life. (I know...) Which is why I called them a purge, write the stuff down that's been bothering me -- as is -- so I can top thinking about it. Since then, they haven't come up. Maybe because I typed them down right, or mostly right and didn't need to change it, or... something else.
This particular Purge was... it bothered me. I don't know if you noticed, but I like to maim people. It's almost a trait that I have in mind when I'm writing, but not actually to the point they're killed. Maybe like one person, but... I am probably thinking of Vincent (from Nightingale... you'll get this later on).
Let me say this much; it gets lampshaded in the third purge, and it turns out to be a huge game-breaking injury as time goes on. And you're probably gonna go, 'come the hell on, Tenku!' but at the same time, stranger things have happened. It's really a matter of sheer willpower on everyone's part really. Did I mention this is incredibly spoilerish? Like I spoiled myself. Anyway, here is the context, and the Purge behind the cut.

(context: Kento has accidentally discovered Orion’s office, in which the doctor attempts to make civilized conversation. As time passes, Kento becomes increasingly agitated with the man; Orion simply brushes him off because of the fact he doesn’t harm those smaller than him, or at least showing incredible restraint.)
