Yeah, I'd start on NaNoWriMo, but it's kinda late to jump in. Or is it?

Ok, I haven't decided to take Virus out of the title, and just leave Nightingale in. However, it doesn't have a menacing ring to it. Besides, they're birds, so someone will think it's about birds. Totally not the case. I still forgot how I even came up with that title anyway.

Ah, so I've written out the outline for the first five chapters quite easily. Nothing too convoluted as I'll make something up along the way... as usual. I haven't totally fleshed out the whole universe because it's just concentrating on one planet... I mean, others are involved, but Hyperion is the main planet. It's about... oh, 5 times larger than Earth? And it has a smaller, sister planet called Ixion, about...

O -------------------- o

That far? Like I said, I haven't got that far.

In terms of characterization, the first five chapters lay out the foundation for both Madrugada and Vincent. Oh, did I mention that I pretty much had to change Vincent's original name? I mean I named him before all the... yeah, anyway, Vincent fits. Besides, he knows the implication behind Madrugada's first name Echo... well, the Greek mythology behind it, not the other part. But even she doesn't know about the other part. Let's just say it's irony.

I thought about the whole having amnesia thing, but I thought it was too trite. Besides, an android with amnesia doesn't make sense. What he doesn't know, until later, is how he's even alive. When I'll post the prologue up, you'll see why. Even Madrugada, when she figures it out, is like 'woah, how the hell?'

The clothing part of it... I'm so detailed with this. I had to think what they were going to wear. I'm insanely detailed, bear with me. I decided to have the police outfit akin to Nick Fury's blue/white outfit. Vincent has the red/black variant -- he's already tall and intimidating as it is. Before that... well he's nearly... let's say Hyperion can be slightly windy. Madrugada's is the blue/white variant, but she adds a silver scarf for added feminine look. It's not like she is horrible looking (think a real small version of Chidori from Full Metal Panic), but the suit is just... yeah.

I've also separated, I think, into the Infected and Nightingales, the actual creatures. It just makes things easier. Had an idea that came from a really freaky dream I had a while back. It's like that thing from Doom, the movie where the pinkish thing had wheels for legs? That's what it mostly looks like. Except the wheels. Most of the time, it's blue when it's docile, pink when something's interesting/caution, and brilliant red when it is in full attack mode. And impossibly razor sharp teeth I might add. They travel in packs. Grubs, they shall be named. I guess they can be like the dog equivalent.

Ah, that's all I have, for now I think.
