[writing] Project Chaos - A brief note
May. 14th, 2010 11:59 pmA little background:
I started on this when I was about 7/8ths finished with Zero, and luckily there was no conflicted. Maybe because I was planning out everything -- at first -- and I knew what was going to happen. That is until the middle of Chaos where I basically said, "Fuck planning and reason, let's just wild out on this."
It can explain why there's some nigh impossible things happening here and there. But, then again, if I found a unscathed version of Zero, then it's pretty much established at that point. So, please, I'm gonna break some physics and maybe reality, but it's nothing too much out of the ordinary, I don't think.
This only took me a period of 1 1/2 years to complete.
Character-wise... things are starting to happen. I'm not going to say what to who exactly, but it's very important. Originally, it was gonna be resolved at the end, but like I said, planning didn't come into play (at the time)... and ran with it.
But that's always the case with me.
The violence in this one is... well, it's not much scaled down from Zero, I'll be honest. Sure, no one is getting gutted open like a fish, or something equally vicious like that, but there are still parts that I cringed at when I was writing it.
At first I felt guilty inflicting such brutality on some poor person... and well, the rest is sort of history. It's damn near a running joke with me and
emeraldstag . I'm not a bad person; blame it on my imagination. :p
